Most people who search for AWS AI Practitioner prep want to know one thing: will this teach me what I need? This product answers a different question, and its own title says so if you read it carefully — it is Practice Exams, not a course. There is no lecture in it: the syllabus for the certification is somebody else's job, and this one restricts itself to testing whether you already know it. What it offers is four full attempts at exam-shaped questions, 260 in total, built by an instructor whose AWS practice-test catalogue is one of the most reviewed on Udemy. Used after real study, that is a genuinely useful diagnostic. Used instead of studying, it is 260 questions and nowhere to learn from the ones you get wrong.

What is it?

One Udemy product, bought outright, from Stephane Maarek and Abhishek Singh — Maarek is the instructor whose AWS certification practice exams show up across a large share of Udemy's AWS catalogue. It is four full practice exams covering 260 questions in total, and the course page states plainly that there is no video: this is a question bank, not a taught course. Udemy's course page shows no level badge, though its search-result card labels it Beginner; we publish it as Beginner too, matching the AWS AI Practitioner exam it targets, which AWS itself pitches as a foundational credential.

What it is not is a substitute for learning the material. Nothing here explains AWS's AI and ML services, walks through Bedrock or SageMaker, or teaches the vocabulary the exam expects you to already have. The value of a practice exam depends entirely on what you bring to it: sit these cold and a low score tells you the exam is hard, which you already knew; sit them after working through the actual syllabus and a low score tells you exactly where to go back and study.

Udemy still issues its usual certificate of completion once you finish the exams, and the course page makes no statement about accreditation in either direction — we don't read anything into that silence. The credential that actually matters here is AWS's own, earned by passing the proctored AIF-C01 exam separately; nothing about this product changes what that requires.

What's actually inside the four exams

The entire product, listed in the provider's own titles: four full practice exams, 260 questions between them, and nothing else.

• Practice Test #1 – Full Exam — the baseline attempt: sit it as cold as your revision allows, so the score actually means something.
• Practice Test #2 – Full Exam — a second complete run, useful for confirming a first-attempt weak spot was a real gap and not a bad day.
• Practice Test #3 – Full Exam — the point most people use to check whether targeted review since Test #1 actually moved the score.
• Practice Test #4 – Full Exam — the final attempt, best treated as a go / no-go check before you pay AWS's exam fee.

That is the entire syllabus of the product: 260 questions, no video, no lecture notes beyond whatever a question itself gives away. There is nothing here on Bedrock, SageMaker, responsible AI, or any of the domains the AIF-C01 exam guide actually names, because none of that is this product's job. An exam guide or a taught course covers the syllabus; this covers whether it stuck.

The details: cost, prerequisites and the certificate

Cost. A single purchase, with permanent access afterwards and nothing to renew. The list price on the day we read the page, 28 August 2026, was $39.99, and Udemy's site-wide sales have pushed listings like it down toward $10 before — the platform runs sales often enough that no single figure stays accurate for long. Check the day's price before you buy; nothing printed here should be trusted over the number on the page itself.

Time. The course page doesn't state a length, and we won't estimate one. Four exams' worth of multiple-choice questions doesn't have a fixed duration the way a lecture series does — it depends on how long you take per question and how many times you replay a test. If a duration matters to your planning, this is not the product to plan around.

Prerequisites. None are listed on the course page, and none would make sense for a pure question bank — but the product assumes you have already studied for the exam elsewhere. Sitting it cold tells you the exam is hard, which is not new information; sitting it after real study tells you where you're actually weak.

Certificate. A certificate of completion, the same as any other Udemy purchase. No accreditation is claimed for it — the course page makes no statement about accreditation in either direction — and it has no bearing on AWS's own credential, which is earned through the separate proctored AIF-C01 exam.

Learner evidence. 9,062 learner ratings with a 4.5 average, from 94,724 learners, checked in a browser on 24 September 2026. The listing was last updated in May 2026. A large sample rating a question bank well is evidence the questions feel realistic to people who have sat similar exams before — it says nothing about whether the certificate or the completion itself carries weight, which is a separate judgment we score on its own.

Who should take it (and who shouldn't)

Take it if you've already worked through the AWS AI Practitioner exam guide — on your own, through a taught course, or through AWS's own documentation — and want a realistic sense of whether you're ready to book the proctored exam. It also suits a reader deciding between studying more and paying the exam fee, since a bad practice score is a cheaper way to find that out than a failed attempt at the real thing. How it compares to the alternatives

Three ways to approach the same certification, one of them a pure question bank with no video and no hours to publish, and two of them courses that actually teach: the AWS exam-prep course from LearnKartS runs about 9 hours, and Udemy's AWS Machine Learning Engineer course — a harder, adjacent credential — runs about 24.

The row worth reading closely is the second. LearnKartS's Introduction to AI and Machine Learning is a taught course, the foundational one in LearnKartS's AWS Certified AI Practitioner specialization — about nine hours, on a Coursera subscription — and it is a sensible thing to finish before spending money on this page's subject at all. The other two rows mark contrast rather than a straight substitute. Udemy's Azure AI-900 practice exams are the same kind of product for a different vendor's beginner credential — but Microsoft retired the AI-900 exam on 30 June 2026 and replaced it with AI-901, so they now prepare you for an exam nobody can sit. AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer Associate: Hands On! sits at a different level entirely: about 25 hours of building and deploying models with AWS's managed services, aimed at a harder, separate AWS credential that assumes AI Practitioner ground is already covered.

Is it worth it?

For the reader it's built for, yes — at 4.0 / 5 it does one job cleanly: telling you, honestly and repeatedly, whether AWS AI Practitioner material has actually stuck. Four exams and 260 questions from an instructor whose AWS test-prep work is heavily reviewed on Udemy is a reasonable amount of practice to buy at this price. For anyone else, the same product is close to useless, because there is nothing in it to learn from if you don't already know the syllabus.

The honest way to use it: study the syllabus somewhere that actually teaches it, sit Test #1 to find the gaps, go back and close them, and treat Tests #2 through #4 as the check that you closed the right ones. Buy it expecting a teacher and you'll be disappointed by a product that never claimed to be one.
